After lunch, we will make our way to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2639 meters). This will take approximately 3 hours, including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp for the night on the crater rim, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

  • Descent to Segara Anak Lake & Hot Springs
    The day begins with a downhill trek from the crater rim toward Segara Anak Lake, considered one of the more challenging parts of the journey. The path can be steep and narrow, with slippery sections after rainfall, so steady and careful steps are important. As you approach the lake, the terrain gradually levels out, offering a more relaxed walk. Here, trekkers can unwind, bathe in the natural hot springs, and take in the unique volcanic landscape surrounding the lake.

  • Return to Senaru Village
    On the final day, the route continues with a scenic descent through lush tropical rainforest back to Senaru Village.
