The meet-up area is around Padang Bai Port, Bali. Guests arrange their own transport to the port. Exact meeting details will be shared after booking confirmation.

What time do we arrive in Gili Trawangan on Day 1?

Estimated arrival is around 11:30 AM, followed by hotel check-in and free time. Timing may vary depending on sea conditions and fast boat operations.

Is the snorkeling tour private?

Yes. Day 2 is a private snorkeling tour. You will explore the three Gilis until the afternoon, then return to the hotel or enjoy free time.

Kayak or paddleboard: do we get both?

Day 3 includes a full-day rental of either a Kayak or a Paddle Board (choose one). Pick-up is between 09:00–10:00 AM at the designated rental spot.

Is drone photo/video included on Day 3?

Yes. Your paddling session will be documented with an exclusive drone photo/video service, capturing your adventure from a unique aerial perspective.

Horse riding: how long is the session and when?

Day 4 includes a 1-hour horse riding session in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Senaru Waterfall Day Trip: is it a long day?

Yes. Day 5 starts early and includes boat transfers plus a scenic drive to North Lombok. You’ll visit Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, then return to Gili Trawangan by private boat in the evening.

What should I bring for the tour?

Bring swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a light jacket for transfers, hat, comfortable sandals, a dry bag/waterproof phone case, and cash for meals, entrance tickets, and personal expenses.

What if I get seasick on the fast boat?

Take anti-seasickness medication 30–60 minutes before departure, stay hydrated, and sit in the middle of the boat for better stability.

What happens on day 5 (departure day)?

If you continue to Bali, we facilitate fast boat + shuttle bus to your hotel. If you continue to Lombok, we facilitate public boat transfer and private transport to Lombok.

Number of Participants

Public snorkeling trip: We are the Snorkeling head office in Gili Trawangan, and we have many travel agent partners across Gili Trawangan, Lombok, and even Bali. We cannot guarantee the exact number of participants who will join the snorkeling trip on that day. What we can confirm is that the glass-bottom boat for the public snorkeling trip has a capacity of 40 people and will be filled with 20-25 people on the boat. Make sure you receive accurate information to prevent any unforeseen circumstances.

Departure Schedule

For the public snorkeling trip, we have predetermined departure schedules. For the morning trip, we offer two departure times: 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Similarly, for the afternoon trip, we also have two time slots: 01:00 PM and 04:00 PM. The morning trip lasts for 5 hours, which includes snorkeling time, visits to Gili Meno, and lunchtime at Gili Air. The route and snorkeling spots are prearranged for this trip. On the other hand, the afternoon trip focuses solely on snorkeling without visiting the other two islands

Snorkeling Equipment

Both private and public snorkeling equipment adhere to the same standards and quality. Gili Trawangan Tour & Travel will always ensure that the equipment you use is in good and usable condition. If you find that our equipment is not functioning properly, please seek assistance from the snorkeling guide or the boat crew on duty.

Snorkeling Documentation

Public Snorkeling Trip: To ensure that you obtain photos and videos of your snorkeling experience, please make sure to follow the instructions from your snorkeling guide. For public snorkeling trips, we provide GoPro cameras to capture your moments in the sea. However, if you feel that our guides have not captured your snorkeling photos or videos, please communicate with them. It’s important to note that public snorkeling trips are accompanied by two guides who ensure that all participants have an enjoyable trip. Snorkeling Spots

For the morning session of the public tour, it’s not just about snorkeling; you will also be invited to explore Gili Meno. On Gili Meno, you can witness a turtle conservation area and a saltwater lake situated in the middle of the island. You’ll have a brief rest and enjoy lunch on Gili Air as well. The snorkeling spots that will be visited include Turtle Point in Gili Trawangan, Blue Coral Garden, Bounty Wreck, Statues of Gili Meno, and Garden Fish in Gili Air.

As for the afternoon snorkeling trip, it will focus on snorkeling at Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan, specifically at Blue Coral, Bounty Wreck, and Turtle Point.

Gili Trawangan Tour & Travel serve as the head office for snorkeling in Gili Trawangan. Avoid purchasing tickets from unauthorized scalpers to ensure your comfort and appropriate pricing.
Public snorkeling trips have fixed departure schedules, predetermined snorkeling times, and planned snorkeling spots within this program. Public snorkeling trips cannot be customized upon request. If you desire a trip tailored to your preferences, please book a private snorkeling trip.

usually, prices tend to increase during holiday seasons in July, August, December, or national holidays. Upon booking, we will send an invoice to your email or via WhatsApp. Kindly make a deposit payment one day before the trip takes place.

Registration and Payment:

Registration can be done online through the official website or via registered tour agents in Gili Trawangan, Lombok.
Online bookings need to pay a 50% deposit of the total price before the activity starts.

Delays and Cancellations:

For Sharing Snorkeling trips, participants more than 10 minutes late cannot join the activity.
Cancellations can be made with a notice of 14 days before the departure date for a 100% refund, 7 days before the arrival date for a 50% refund, and cancel from the 3rd day to the day of arrival date are non-refundable.

Health and Safety:

Participants must be in adequate physical and mental health to join the activity.
Participants must follow the instructions of the guide and responsible staff to ensure safety.

Participant’s Responsibility:

Participants are fully responsible for their belongings and cannot hold the organizers accountable for loss or damage.
Participants must maintain cleanliness and preserve the environment during the activity.

Activity Cancellation:

Activities may be canceled due to bad weather or other reasons beyond the organizers’ control.

Use of Photos and Videos:

The organizers have the right to use participants’ photos and videos for promotional purposes.
Participants can request not to be included in photos and videos.

Q Where is the Lombok meeting point?

On the first day at 12 pm, we will pick you up from your location. If you are on the Gili Islands, you can cross over to Bangsal and meet at the Rinjani trekking meeting point. Rinjani trekking can arrange pickups from all areas in Lombok.

Minor adjustments may occur due to weather, sea conditions, or operational schedules. If changes are needed, we will inform you in advance and provide the best alternatives.
