Public snorkeling trip: We are the Snorkeling head office in Gili Trawangan, and we have many travel agent partners across Gili Trawangan, Lombok, and even Bali. We cannot guarantee the exact number of participants who will join the snorkeling trip on that day. What we can confirm is that the glass-bottom boat for the public snorkeling trip has a capacity of 40 people and will be filled with 20-25 people on the boat. Make sure you receive accurate information to prevent any unforeseen circumstances.

1.1 Departure Schedule

For the public snorkeling trip, we have predetermined departure schedules. For the morning trip, we offer two departure times: 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Similarly, for the afternoon trip, we also have two time slots: 01:00 PM and 04:00 PM. The morning trip lasts for 5 hours, which includes snorkeling time, visits to Gili Meno, and lunchtime at Gili Air. The route and snorkeling spots are prearranged for this trip. On the other hand, the afternoon trip focuses solely on snorkeling without visiting the other two islands.

1.3 Snorkeling Equipment

Both private and public snorkeling equipment adhere to the same standards and quality. Gili Trawangan Tour & Travel will always ensure that the equipment you use is in good and usable condition. 1.4 Snorkeling Documentation

Public Snorkeling Trip: To ensure that you obtain photos and videos of your snorkeling experience, please make sure to follow the instructions from your snorkeling guide. For public snorkeling trips, we provide GoPro cameras to capture your moments in the sea. However, if you feel that our guides have not captured your snorkeling photos or videos, please communicate with them. It’s important to note that public snorkeling trips are accompanied by two guides who ensure that all participants have an enjoyable trip. 1.5 Snorkeling Spots

For the morning session of the public tour, it’s not just about snorkeling; you will also be invited to explore Gili Meno. On Gili Meno, you can witness a turtle conservation area and a saltwater lake situated in the middle of the island. You’ll have a brief rest and enjoy lunch on Gili Air as well. The snorkeling spots that will be visited include Turtle Point in Gili Trawangan, Blue Coral Garden, Bounty Wreck, Statues of Gili Meno, and Garden Fish in Gili Air.

As for the afternoon snorkeling trip, it will focus on snorkeling at Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan, specifically at Blue Coral, Bounty Wreck, and Turtle Point.

1.6 Itinerary

08:00 AM Meet at the Gili Trawangan Tour & Travel office in Gili Trawangan, where you’ll select your snorkeling gear, such as a mask, fins (flippers), and a life jacket.
09:30 AM Depart from the Gili Trawangan port right in front of the Gili Trawangan Tour & Travel, heading towards Gili Meno.
09:45 AM Snorkel at Blue Coral Garden, Gili Meno. Here, you’ll witness the colorful beauty of coral reefs teeming with thousands of ornamental fish. You’ll be amazed by the natural underwater garden of Gili Meno, which remains pristine. After around 30 minutes of snorkeling here, we’ll proceed to the next spot, “Statues Point Gili Meno.”
10:15 AM Experience snorkeling at one of the most sought-after spots by tourists, the Statues of Gili Meno. There are 48 statues in a circular arrangement, embracing each other. These statues have transformed into coral reefs, becoming the habitat for the marine life of Gili Meno. 10:45 AM After snorkeling at the two aforementioned spots, we’ll take you to visit a serene lake on Gili Meno. We’ll spend approximately 1 hour here.
12:00 PM Proceed to snorkel at Garden Fish, Gili Air. Here, you can swim alongside hundreds of colorful ornamental fish. With clear seawater, you can leisurely enjoy the underwater panorama of Gili Air.
12:30 PM Head to Gili Air for lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants. You can savor your meal with a beach view and a gentle breeze.
01:30 PM After lunch and a short rest, we’ll return to snorkel at one of the turtle spots at the border of Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. Registration and Payment:

b. Online bookings need to pay a 50% deposit of the total price before the activity starts.

Delays and Cancellations:

a. For Sharing Snorkeling trips, participants more than 10 minutes late cannot join the activity.
b. Cancellations can be made with a notice of 14 days before the departure date for a 100% refund, 7 days before the arrival date for a 50% refund, and cancel from the 3rd day to the day of arrival date are non-refundable.

Health and Safety:

a. Participants must be in adequate physical and mental health to join the activity.
b. Participants must follow the instructions of the guide and responsible staff to ensure safety.

Participant’s Responsibility:
